Who says cats and dogs don’t get along?
This summer, the cities of Catskill and Hudson host public art exhibitions in their business districts. Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s Cat’n Around Catskill (cat-n-aroundcatskill.com) public art project, the Heart of Catskill Association decided an encore was in order.
Over 60 artist interpretations of the fiberglass kitties return to Main Street for Cat’n Around Catskill 2008.
The exhibition opens Memorial Day weekend and runs through September 19th.
The fabulous felines will again be auctioned at The Cat’s Meow Benefit Gala with proceeds benefiting local charities. Last year’s proceeds climbed to a whopping $84,000! Tickets for the Gala are $30 and may be purchased through the Heart of Catskill Association www.heartofcatskill.com
